Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the services of Fabricators Clinic LLC and the use of this website. The same standing terms are printed on every quotation and invoice we issue.

1. Scope of services

Fabricators Clinic LLC (“FCL”, “we”, “us”) provides steel detailing, shop drawings, 3D modeling, rebar detailing, estimating, and related documentation services to fabricators, general contractors, and owners across the USA and Canada.

All work is performed to the scope described in our written quotation or work order. Anything outside that written scope — including revisions caused by changed design documents — is re-quoted before we proceed.

2. Contractual relationship

We are contractually obligated only to our customer, regardless of the customer's agreements or contracts with third parties. Our deliverables are prepared for the use of the customer named on the quotation.

3. Drawings, models, and intellectual property

Shop drawings, models, and plans remain the property of Fabricators Clinic LLC until final payment is received in full. We reserve the right to hold drawings and documents pending receipt of final payment.

After final payment, the customer receives the agreed deliverables for use on the project for which they were prepared. Reuse on other projects requires our written consent.

4. Review, approval, and back charges

Deliverables are issued for review and approval in accordance with the project's submittal process. The customer is responsible for timely review and for returning comments through that process.

Back charges are limited to a maximum of 5% of the total project cost, and apply only where errors were notified to us in writing and sufficient time was given to rectify them.

5. Payment

Unless stated otherwise on the invoice, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to stop work due to non-payment for work already performed.

6. Limitation of liability

Our services support — and do not replace — the engineer of record's design responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific scope of work giving rise to the claim.

7. Website use

Content on this website — including project images, drawings, and text — is provided for general information and is the property of Fabricators Clinic LLC or its customers. It may not be reproduced without permission.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Questions about these terms can be sent to office@fabricatorsclinic.com.
